The Key Purpose of this role is to operate, maintain, repair, and optimise brewing plant and associated electrical devices to ensure sustained plant availability, optimal production performance, and consistent product quality in line with safety, quality, and VPO standards.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Plant Operation, Maintenance & Optimisation
Operate brewing machines and equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures.
Maintain, repair, and optimise plant and associated electrical devices to ensure reliable operation.
Optimise production performance and process efficiency within the brewing area.
React to plant and process results using VPO tools provided.
Manage a process area in line with VPO principles and standards.
Production Performance & Shift Execution
Actively participate in shift meetings, asking questions to test understanding and contributing improvement suggestions.
Make use of action logs to record issues, problems, and improvement opportunities.
Complete effective handovers to incoming shift teams, ensuring clear communication of plant performance, quality, and maintenance issues.
Fully understand the team Dream and actively contribute to achieving it.
Safety, Health & Risk Management
Maintain a safe, healthy, and risk-free working environment.
Comply with all safety, health, and environmental standards and procedures.
Ensure plant operation and maintenance activities adhere to safety requirements at all times.
Teamwork & Communication
Work effectively within teams and across shifts.
Communicate clearly, listen actively, and assist team members when required.
Contribute positively to team performance and collaboration.

Minimum Requirements:
Minimum: Bachelor of Science, Higher National Diploma, or Bachelor of Technology in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Two to three years’ experience in a Brewing or FMCG manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
