Building and Construction Associate

The Role

We are looking for an ambitious Commercial Associate with a background in the built environment to support customer acquisition, partnerships, commercial operations, and industry engagement. This role is ideal for someone who understands construction but is passionate about business growth, innovation, and creating value across the construction ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities
*Support customer acquisition and relationship management across the construction industry.
*Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and assist with material estimations for client projects.
Identify and develop partnership opportunities with industry stakeholders.
*Engage contractors, developers, consultants, and other key players within the built environment.
*Monitor industry trends, innovations, and market opportunities to support business growth.
*Collaborate with the Communications team to develop educational and commercial content for the construction industry.
*Support market research, lead generation, and business development initiatives.
*Maintain accurate customer and partnership records using CRM tools.
*Represent MaterialsPro at industry events, exhibitions, and networking sessions.

Requirements
*B.Sc. or HND in Quantity Surveying, Building Technology, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
*0–2 years of relevant experience (NYSC experience is welcome).
*Strong commercial mindset with an interest in sales, partnerships, and business development.
*Good understanding of construction materials and the project delivery process.
*Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
*Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
*Willingness to learn, take initiative, and work in a fast-paced environment.
