Business Development and Partnerships Associate

Job Summary

The Business Development and Partnerships Associate will support the organization’s efforts to mobilize resources, develop strategic partnerships, and identify new opportunities for business growth and organizational sustainability. The role will involve researching funding and partnership opportunities, supporting proposal and concept note development, engaging key stakeholders, and maintaining strong relationships with donors, development partners, private sector organizations, government institutions, and other relevant stakeholders.

The Associate will also contribute to market research, fundraising initiatives, stakeholder engagement, and the development of business development strategies. The ideal candidate should demonstrate strong research, communication, writing, relationship management, and organizational skills, with the ability to identify opportunities and support the organization in converting them into meaningful partnerships and growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Research funding opportunities, grants, and potential partnerships.
  
• Develop and support concept notes, proposals, and partnership documents.
  
• Maintain and update donor, partner, and stakeholder databases.
  
• Identify and engage potential donors, partners, and stakeholders.
  
• Organize stakeholder engagement meetings and networking events.
  
• Prepare presentations, partnership briefs, and promotional materials.
  
• Monitor partnership commitments and follow-up actions.
  
• Support fundraising and resource mobilization initiatives.
  
• Contribute to business development strategies and growth initiatives.
  
• Conduct market research and identify potential business opportunities.
  
• Track business development leads and partnership prospects.
  
• Prepare reports on business development, partnerships, and resource mobilization activities.
  
• Collaborate with relevant teams to support organizational growth and sustainability.
  
• Perform other duties related to business development, partnerships, and resource mobilization as assigned.
