Job Description - Business Development Manager

Company Description

Hello Products is an African Healthcare Company based in Lagos, Nigeria that develops, manufactures and distributes a range of high quality personal and home care brands that support healthier life and safer homes throughout Africa.

 

Job Description

  • Responsible for development of the health care channel in Hello Products Limited  Nigeria.
  • Customers to include major pharmacy chains PAN Nigeria across the value chain -wholesale and retail. 
  • Responsible for leading negotiations and driving initiatives for the health care category- medicated cream, ASL, sanitizers (drug).
  • Responsible for the delivery of the total channel value target
  • Managing the prioritization of projects and plans within the team and ensure the overall productivity of the team
  • Responsible for leading and contributing to projects that drive revenue growth.
  • He/She will be required to be involved with general marketing activities on an ad hoc basis, including frequent travels across Nigeria.
  • Provide short- and long-term market forecasts, reports, and trends to assist business development in the acquisition of other prospective clients.
  • The BDM will report directly to the HOS with a dotted line report to the Managing Director and be responsible for the development and management of broad-based BDM marketing programs, implementation and results

Qualifications

1st degree in a medical/science-based course. Preferably 2:1.

A second degree will be considered as an advantage

Experience in healthcare is a must have. At least 5 year experience as sales manager

Additional Information

Role will be incentivized on the turnover generated in these new segments. Will be based on a monthly and annualized scheme.
