The National Judicial Council has begun a process of designing, developing and acquiring State-of-the-Art information Systems with the intention of improving the operations of the Nigerian Judiciary through the computerization of Court Processes and the operations of all Judicial Bodies.
Will possess and apply comprehensive knowledge of Oracle11g,Oracle Forms, and Java software development.
Communicate in person, over the phone, and in writing with Court staff on a daily basis to report technical status of systems and to include provision of supporting system briefings and reviews to the Project
Lead a team of software developers and engineers using the following technologies : J2EE, Oracle forms, Oracle 11g Database, PERL,CGI, Cold fusion,Asp..NET, Oracle Application Server(OAS), WebLogic and other related software as required.
Meet with judges and Court staff to discuss and determine required features and functionality for their Systems.
Gather and define requirements, Design & interface specifications for the various aspects of the Project.
A University Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, Electrical/ Electronics Engineering. Masters degree in Computer Science or related technical field. Certifications in ITIL, Java Oracle, or SCRUM. PMP certification(or Prince) will be an advantage.
At least five(5) years of Life cycle software development utilizing Oracle and Java based technologies.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Demonstrated ability to provide daily, weekly, and or monthly status reports to project management.
Demonstrated ability to manage technical staff, provide directions and support and ensuring that project schedules are maintained and deadlines are met and task completed.
