Commercial Workshop Manager

Revenue & Commercial Focus (60%):

• Drive weekly car intake to achieve gross margin targets
  


• Acquire fleet and corporate accounts (ride-hailing, logistics, taxi, and corporate clients)
  


• Increase average ticket via upselling services and premium offerings
  


• Enforce pricing discipline and high-margin jobs
  

Operations & Execution (40%):

• Supervise the shop floor via the Operations & Parts Supervisor
  


• Track technician productivity and enforce accountability (target 90–95%)
  


• Ensure quality control and minimize comeback rates (<5%)
  


• Manage parts and inventory, monitor turnaround times
  


• Implement and enforce SOPs consistently
  

• Weekly KPI dashboard: cars in/out, gross margin, technician utilization, comeback rate, cash reconciliation, fleet pipeline
  


• Monthly financial report and projections.
  

Requirements

• Proven track record running a workshop with ₦5M+ monthly gross margin
  


• Experienced in fleet acquisition & corporate sales
  


• Strong leadership
  


• Data-driven and comfortable with KPIs
  


• Hands-on problem-solving with a focus on commercial outcomes
  


• Ability to work independently under minimal oversight
  


• Basic financial literacy (margins, cash, revenue tracking)
  

• Familiarity with the Nigerian automotive landscape
  


• CRM experience
