Our client is a leading global technology company providing innovative internet products and digital solutions across emerging markets. They are looking to hire a Country Manager to lead their Nigeria operations, drive business growth, manage local teams and execute market strategies. This role is ideal for an experienced leader with a strong background in the internet or technology industry.







Job Responsibilities



  •  Local Business Overall Management: Take full charge of the company’s internet business development, including user operation, sales expansion and advertising business layout in the local market. Formulate country-level business strategies, annual/quarterly sales & user growth goals and implementation plans, and ensure the completion of core business KPIs including user scale growth, sales revenue, advertising revenue, market penetration and user activity metrics.

  •  Market Localization Adaptation & Optimization: Deeply understand local internet market characteristics, user consumption habits, cultural customs, industry trends and local regulatory policies. Optimize product functions, operational strategies, content systems and marketing models to achieve full localization of internet business, eliminate cross-border operation barriers, and improve local user stickiness and market competitiveness.

  •  Local Team Building & Management: Responsible for the recruitment, training, performance assessment and daily management of local country teams, build a professional, efficient and localized operation team. Establish sound local team management systems and workflow specifications, motivate team vitality, and improve overall team execution and business output capacity.

  • Local Resource Integration & Cooperation: Develop and maintain local resources, including local internet platforms, media channels, business partners, institutional clients and industry associations. Expand local business cooperation channels, promote in-depth local business collaboration and build a good local brand reputation for the company.

  •  Risk Control & Compliance Management: Familiar with local internet industry laws, regulations and policy requirements, supervise the compliance operation of local business, effectively avoid market risks, policy risks and operational risks, and ensure all business activities are in line with local regulatory standards and corporate norms.

  •  Data Analysis & Strategy Iteration: Monitor local business operation data and market dynamics in real time, conduct regular business review and market analysis, summarize operational problems and growth opportunities, iteratively optimize business strategies and localized operation schemes, and continuously improve business operational efficiency and market share.

  •  Cross-regional Communication & Reporting: Regularly report local business progress, market situations, existing problems and development plans to the global/regional headquarters. Conduct efficient cross-border communication and collaboration with the headquarters team to align strategic directions and resource support.



Job Requirements



  • Mandatory Identity Requirement: Must be a native local citizen of the target country.

  •  Industry Experience: 5+ years of formal working experience in the internet industry, with a core background in user operation or sales business.

  •  Localized Management Capability.

  •  Team Management Experience: 5+ years of team management experience, good at building and managing local teams, able to guide team work, optimize team efficiency and achieve business targets.

  •  Communication & Collaboration: Fluent in local official language and proficient in English (written and oral), able to conduct smooth cross-border communication and business docking with headquarters teams and local partners.

  • Comprehensive Quality: Possess strong strategic thinking, independent problem-solving ability, execution and pressure resistance; result-oriented, with strong business responsibility and market expansion initiative.

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree or above.
