ID Africa is a Marketing, Media and Technology Company with a mission to help brands and individuals connect with the people they care about.

As a creative designer, we expect that you will actively produce contents for our digital assets and our clients while reporting to the chief executive officer. You will be appraised based on the areas listed below:

1. How much high-quality work you produce independently and collaboratively i.e. quantitative measure


2. How impactful your work is in terms of audience satisfaction, meeting set objectives and overall significance  i.e. qualitative measure


3. How reliable you are for ID Africa i.e. your consistency  


4. How often you show up for your teammates i.e. your interpersonal relationship and leadership


5. How creative you are with tasks i.e. innovation and problem solving

What do we need from you? 

1. To generate story ideas for IDA’s clients and IDA’s owned media platforms on the web and social channels


2. To conceptualize visuals and multimedia communication materials based on ID Africa and our clients’ requirements.


3. To develop concepts, designs and layouts, and ensuring final outputs visually appealing and on-brand.


4. To work with copywriters to produce final designs for ID Africa’s media assets (Netng, Neusroom, 234star, Orin and others).


5. To work with the creative team to create original graphic art and content for the company’s website, social media pages and other marketing communication materials.


6. To use top of the line industry software such as Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and others to create compelling visual designs.


7. To maintain visual design consistency across all brand deliverables.


8. To work on conceptualization and development of a range of design projects:  (i) social and web content for media and news platforms  (ii) full-scale branding projects (iii) product & UX design (iv) marketing communications/advertising materials.
