Job Description - Data Analyst

The Data Analyst will support data-driven decision-making by collecting, cleaning, analysing, and interpreting data across business functions. The role is responsible for generating insights, building reports, and supporting operational and strategic performance tracking.

Requirements

1. Data Collection & Management
Extract, clean, and validate data from multiple sources
Maintain data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across datasets
Support development and maintenance of databases and data systems

2. Data Analysis & Insights
Analyse datasets to identify trends, patterns, and performance drivers
Translate raw data into actionable business insights
Support decision-making through evidence-based analysis

3. Reporting & Dashboard Development
Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using tools such as Excel, Power BI, or Tableau
Prepare periodic (daily, weekly, monthly) performance reports for stakeholders
Automate reporting processes where possible

4. Business Support & Collaboration
Work with business units to understand reporting and analytics needs
Provide analytical support for operational and strategic initiatives
Communicate insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders

5. Data Quality & Process Improvement
Identify and resolve data quality issues
Recommend improvements to data collection and reporting processes
Support adoption of data standards and governance practices
