Job Title: ERP Specialist (Microsoft Dynamics NAV/Business Central)

Job Summary

The ERP Specialist will be responsible for the configuration, implementation, optimization, and ongoing support of the organization’s Microsoft Dynamics NAV/Business Central (BC) environment. This role ensures that the ERP system is properly set up to support business processes, enhance operational efficiency, and maintain data integrity across all functional areas.

Key Responsibilities

ERP Setup, Configuration & Management

• Configure, customize, and maintain Microsoft Dynamics NAV/Business Central to meet business functional requirements.
  

• Lead ERP setup activities including chart of accounts, posting groups, workflows, permissions, and user roles.
  

• Ensure proper integration and alignment of all modules (Finance, Supply Chain, Sales, Inventory, HR, etc.).
  

• Manage system upgrades, patches, and enhancements with minimal downtime.
  

Implementation & Process Improvement

• Participate in end -to -end ERP implementation projects, including requirements gathering, system design, testing, go -live, and post -implementation support.
  

• Analyze existing business processes and recommend improvements supported by ERP capabilities.
  

• Develop and maintain ERP documentation, user guides, workflows, and SOPs.
  

Support & Troubleshooting

• Serve as the primary point of contact for ERP -related inquiries, issues, and escalations.
  

• Troubleshoot system errors, data inconsistencies, and performance issues.
  

• Work closely with cross -functional teams and external vendors to resolve technical challenges.
  

Training & User Enablement

• Train employees and system users on ERP functionalities, new features, and best practices.
  

• Provide support during onboarding of new users and during process updates.
  

Data Quality & Reporting

• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across all ERP modules.
  

• Develop and manage ERP reports, dashboards, and analytical tools.
  

• Support management with data -driven insights for operational and strategic decisions.
  

Requirements

Key Requirements

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Accounting, Engineering, or related field.
  

• 2–5 years of experience working with Microsoft Dynamics NAV or Business Central in an ERP support, analyst, or specialist role.
  

• Hands -on experience in ERP setup, configuration, and system administration is essential.
  

Technical Skills

• Strong expertise in Microsoft Dynamics NAV/BC modules, architecture, and administration.
  

• Practical experience with:
  

  • Chart of accounts configuration
    

  • Posting setup
    

  • Inventory & warehouse setup
    

  • Workflow and permission setup
    

  • Extensions and basic customizations
    

• Understanding of SQL databases and reporting tools (Power BI is an advantage).
  

• Basic understanding of integrations via APIs or middleware (preferred).
