Frontend Engineer (Remote)

In this role, you will: 

Build innovative solutions that address the overall design, site navigation, and layout of content for various geographic audiences

Code visually appealing and dynamic UIs for our browser-based and mobile front-ends 

Create Unit Tests and document your code  

Contribute or develop your SCRUM skills Participate in any other activities as needed!

Do you have what it takes?  

• A relevant university or college degree 
• 5+ year of experience in: CSS3, JavaScript, HTML5, jquery Experience with PHP, Responsive Design, AJAX, CSS Templating/Modularity 
• Nice to have: CoffeeScript, Angular.js, Node/Npm, JSON/REST, SQL knowledge (MySQL), 
• Linux UI/UX experience with a focus on web designs and/or mobile applications  
• Knowledge of web interaction design best practices with a focus on consistency and usability  
• An understanding of the principles behind personas, user experience, web navigation, user habits, current design trends, cross-browser and platform compatibility issues  
• Bonus points for knowledge of a visual design tool: Photoshop, GIMP, Inkscape, InDesign or Illustrator, FontForge
