Job Description - ICT Skills Acquisition Trainer

Summary

The ICT Skills Acquisition Trainer plays a vital role in empowering young individuals by facilitating hands-on training in Information and Communication Technology and digital competencies. This position is dedicated to helping learners build foundational computer literacy, acquire essential workplace digital skills, and gain practical proficiency with standard software tools, thereby bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world application.

Responsibilities

Facilitate and deliver engaging, practical ICT training sessions to diverse groups of learners.
Instruct students on fundamental computer operations and core digital literacy concepts.
Provide comprehensive training on essential Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Educate participants on safe, responsible, and effective internet usage practices.
Design and prepare practical exercises, along with necessary training materials and resources.
Offer direct guidance and support to learners throughout hands-on practical activities.
Track and evaluate learner engagement, participation levels, and overall progress.

Requirements
