Job Description - Ict Support Personnel

Summary

This role is dedicated to delivering comprehensive technical assistance, overseeing the upkeep of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) infrastructure, and facilitating foundational digital literacy training for employees. The primary objective is to guarantee the seamless and productive utilization of technology across the organization, ensuring that all staff members can leverage digital tools effectively to support business operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and perform ongoing maintenance on computer hardware and software applications.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to ICT systems and network connectivity.
  • Offer direct technical support and guidance to staff members and end-users.
  • Design and deliver training sessions focused on essential ICT concepts and digital skills.
  • Manage the maintenance of IT assets and execute regular data backup procedures to ensure information integrity.
  • Assist in upholding system security protocols and applying necessary software updates.
  • Execute additional ICT-related tasks as directed by the supervisor.
