IT Manager

We are seeking a confident and solution-oriented IT Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining all IT systems, both on-site and remotely. As IT Manager, you will be in charge of planning, implementing, and managing all technology-related activities within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all information technology and computer systems
  
• Provide technical support for all IT-related issues
  
• Ensure the security of data, network access, and backup systems
  
• Preserve assets and maintain information security and control structures
  
• Plan, organize, control, and evaluate IT and electronic data operations
  
• Identify problematic areas and implement timely improvements and strategic solutions
  
• Design, develop, and implement systems, policies, and procedures
  
• Create training programs and workshops for staff
  
• Audit and assess systems
  
• Share regular operation system reports with key stakeholders
  
• Oversee timeframes for major IT projects, including system updates, upgrades, migrations, and outages
  
• Manage and report on IT budget allocation to ensure cost-effectiveness
  
• Lead the IT team by recruiting, training, and coaching employees, setting job expectations, and evaluating their performance
  

Requirements

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT management, preferably within financial services or a related field
  
• Proven experience in implementing and managing financial software systems while ensuring regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR, PCI-DSS, NDPR)
  
• A track record of improving IT infrastructure, security, and managing IT budgets effectively
  
• Experience with business continuity and disaster recovery planning, including transitioning traditional systems to cloud-based solutions
  
• Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis, and computer hardware/software systems
  
• Proficient in network management and security, including cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
  
• Expertise in data center management, data governance, and cybersecurity
  
• Hands-on experience with network administration, installation, and financial software systems
  
• Strong leadership capabilities, including remote team management and effective project management
  
• Experience in budget planning, resource allocation, and vendor management
  
• Proficiency in using remote collaboration tools
  
• Ability to align IT strategies with business goals, perform risk assessments, and implement innovative solutions for process improvement
  

Qualifications:

• BSc in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), or a related field
  
• ITIL certification
  
• CISSP certification
  
• Bonus: CRISC certification
