Junior Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Junior Accountant to support the Finance team in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting procedures. The ideal candidate will assist with day-to-day accounting activities, financial reporting, reconciliations, and statutory compliance while demonstrating integrity and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities (JD)

• Prepare and process daily financial transactions.
  


• Maintain accurate accounting records and financial documentation.
  


• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  


• Reconcile bank statements and company accounts.
  


• Process invoices, payments, receipts, and expense claims.
  


• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
  


• Prepare journal entries and update the general ledger.
  


• Support payroll processing and statutory remittances where required.
  


• Monitor petty cash and ensure proper documentation.
  


• Assist with budget preparation and expense tracking.
  


• Support internal and external audit exercises.
  


• Ensure compliance with company financial policies and applicable accounting standards.(GAAP)
  


• Perform other accounting and administrative duties assigned by management.
