Junior Data and Insights Analyst

The Junior Data and Insights Analyst will support the collection, cleaning, management, analysis and visualisation of quantitative and qualitative data generated through MYIT Consult Ltd’s research, monitoring and evaluation, assessments, surveys and consulting assignments.
The successful candidate will work closely with project teams to transform raw data into accurate findings, dashboards, tables, charts and decision-making insights. This position is suitable for a recent graduate or early-career professional who is analytical, detail-oriented and interested in research, monitoring and evaluation, data science and social-impact programming.
Key Responsibilities
• Support the design and programming of data-collection tools using KoboToolbox, ODK, Google Forms or similar platforms.
• Clean, code, validate and organise quantitative and qualitative datasets.
• Analyse data using Microsoft Excel, Power BI, SPSS, Stata, Python, R or other relevant software.
• Develop charts, tables, dashboards and data visualisations for reports and presentations.
• Conduct routine data-quality checks and identify missing, inconsistent or duplicate records.
• Support the analysis of surveys, assessments, evaluations and monitoring data.
• Maintain organised project databases and ensure proper documentation and version control.
• Interpret findings and prepare concise analytical summaries for management and clients.
• Support field teams with data-management protocols and troubleshooting.
• Ensure the confidentiality, security and responsible handling of sensitive project data.
• Assist in preparing research findings, presentations and client deliverables.
• Perform other data and research-related responsibilities assigned by the supervisor.
