Summary

The MEAL & Accountability Assistant is essential for maintaining organizational integrity by establishing and operating systems that guarantee projects are transparent, responsive, and accountable to all stakeholders. This role focuses on creating comprehensive accountability frameworks, overseeing feedback and complaint mechanisms, and promoting continuous learning to enhance adaptive management practices. The successful candidate will gather and interpret both qualitative and quantitative data to inform evidence-based decisions, compile detailed reports for donors and internal teams, and provide training to staff regarding compliance standards and humanitarian principles.

Responsibilities

Design and deploy robust accountability strategies and feedback loops to effectively engage beneficiaries and stakeholders.
Gather, validate, and analyze data to track project performance and pinpoint opportunities for improvement.
Oversee database management to ensure the precision of information utilized for reporting and strategic decision-making.
Execute field monitoring and evaluations to assess project impact and verify adherence to established standards.
Draft comprehensive reports for donors and facilitate reflection sessions to support adaptive management processes.
Train staff on accountability protocols, data collection instruments, and relevant compliance mandates.
Guarantee that all operational activities align with donor regulations and core humanitarian values.
