Role Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented Mid-Level Accountant to join the finance team of a well-established organization operating within the Food & Beverage sector in Nigeria.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting daily accounting operations, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with applicable tax and statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate accounting records and financial reports.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with applicable tax regulations and statutory requirements.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash-flow planning.
• Monitor expenses and identify potential cost-saving opportunities.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities when required.
• Support payroll processing when necessary.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably within the Food & Beverage industry.
• Good working knowledge of ERP/accounting systems such as Zoho, SAP, Odoo, or similar platforms.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Demonstrated experience with tax compliance.
• Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, or CMA are considered an advantage.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
