Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate nutrition screening protocols, specifically conducting Mid-Upper Arm Circumference (MUAC) assessments and identifying cases of acute malnutrition.
  
• Aid in the logistics of distributing and monitoring therapeutic and supplementary feeding commodities.
  
• Provide assistance during counseling sessions focused on Infant and Young Child Feeding (IYCF) best practices for caregivers.
  
• Ensure the accuracy of patient records regarding admissions, discharges, and defaulters at all nutrition service sites.
  
• Engage in community outreach and awareness campaigns to promote healthy nutrition habits.
  
• Contribute to the entry and reporting of program indicators related to nutrition outcomes.
  
• Collaborate with community volunteers and health workers to coordinate follow-up actions for patient referrals.
