The Operations Lead is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day functioning of a growing animal healthcare facility in Ikeja, Lagos. This role ensures operational efficiency, team effectiveness, and continuous improvement across all service delivery processes. The ideal candidate will lead a high-performing team, implement standardized procedures, and support strategic growth initiatives. This position is critical to maintaining service quality, organizational discipline, and long-term sustainability within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate daily operations to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery
Develop, implement, and continuously improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Supervise, mentor, and evaluate staff performance to drive accountability and development
Monitor workflow efficiency and identify opportunities for process optimization
Support business growth by enhancing service quality, brand consistency, and internal productivity
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with operational standards and regulatory requirements
Collaborate with department heads to align operational goals with organizational strategy
Requirements
Bachelorâs degree in Management, Business Administration, Administrative Studies, or a related field
Minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in operations, administration, or management leadership
Proven ability to lead teams, manage performance, and drive operational excellence
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Proficiency in digital systems and basic financial management principles
Experience in healthcare, veterinary practice, or a service-based organization is highly advantageous
Preferred: Male applicant
Minimum age: 35 years
