Petcare Hospital is seeking an experienced, business-minded, and operationally sound Practice Manager to oversee the overall administration, growth, and day-to-day management of the hospital.

    

    
The ideal candidate must possess a strong clinical background as a Veterinary Clinician, combined with excellent business acumen, leadership capability, and operational management experience. This role requires someone who can effectively coordinate clinical and non-clinical operations, drive revenue growth, ensure service excellence, and confidently manage the hospital in the absence of the Medical Director.

    

    
 

    

    

     KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    

    
-Oversee the daily operations and administration of the hospital to ensure efficiency, profitability, and excellent service delivery.

    

    
-Coordinate and supervise both clinical and non-clinical teams to ensure smooth workflow and operational excellence.

    

    
-Drive business growth initiatives, client retention, service utilization, and revenue generation across the hospital.

    

    
-Monitor operational performance, costs, inventory, and resource utilization to improve efficiency and profitability.

    

    
-Ensure exceptional client experience and uphold high standards of patient care and service delivery.

    

    
-Supervise scheduling, staffing coordination, and performance management of operational personnel.

    

    
-Support the Medical Director in implementing strategic, operational, and business development initiatives.

    

    
-Ensure compliance with operational procedures, safety standards, and hospital policies.

    

    
-Manage vendor relationships, procurement coordination, and operational logistics where required.

    

    
-Provide leadership and decision-making oversight in the absence of the Medical Director.

    

    
-Prepare operational reports and provide insights to support management decisions.

    

    
-Carry out other duties as may be assigned by management.

    

    
 

    

    

     REQUIREMENTS

    

    
-Degree in Veterinary Medicine or related clinical background is highly preferred.

    

    
-Minimum of 5–7 years relevant work experience in veterinary practice, healthcare operations, or hospital administration.

    

    
-Strong business acumen with proven ability to drive operational performance and revenue growth.

    

    
-Demonstrated leadership, decision-making, and people management skills.

    

    
-Excellent communication, client relationship, and stakeholder management abilities.

    

    
-Strong understanding of hospital operations, administration, and service coordination.

    

    
-Ability to work independently and manage the hospital effectively in the absence of senior leadership.

    

    
-Proximity to Ikeja and environs is compulsory.
