Job Title: Preschool Assistant Teacher (British International School)

Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the lead teacher in creating a safe, nurturing and engaging early-years learning environment.
  


• Assist with classroom routines, learning activities and age-appropriate experiences for the assigned preschool groups.
  


• Support children's participation, communication, early literacy and development through suitable classroom activities.
  


• Observe and support individual children's needs and communicate relevant observations to the lead teacher.
  


• Apply knowledge of the EYFS framework in daily classroom practice.
  


• Support an organized classroom environment and positive relationships with children, colleagues and parents.
  

Qualifications and Experience:

Minimum Education / Qualification: NCE/OND in Early Childhood Education or related field

Minimum Experience: 1 year

Year Group(s) / Classes: Topaz – 2 ½ years to 3 ½ years; Opal – 3 ½ years to 4 ½ years
