Job Description - Programme Technical Lead Program Operations & Service Delivery

SFH's strategic focus includes Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH),
Family Planning (FP), Maternal, Newborn and Child Health (MNCH), and Nutrition
programming, with emphasis on transitioning from direct implementation to
technical assistance that strengthens government health systems and builds
sustainable capacity. This position plays a critical leadership role in
ensuring technical excellence, quality assurance, and strategic positioning of A360's
SRH/FP/MNCH/Nutrition portfolio while supporting national and subnational
governments to deliver high -quality, evidence -based services that improve
health outcomes for women, newborns, children, and adolescents. Additionally,
the role provides strategic leadership and oversight to A360’s overall
operations, ensuring seamless programme management.



The Technical Lead provides strategic technical leadership, oversight,
and coordination for A360's comprehensive SRH/FP/MNCH/Nutrition programming.
The position holder serves as the primary technical advisor to government
partners at federal and state levels, ensuring that the project's technical
assistance strengthens health systems, improves quality of care, builds
sustainable capacity, and advances evidence -based practices across the
reproductive, maternal, newborn, child health, and nutrition continuum. The
role requires a highly experienced clinician (Nurse/Midwife with 12+ years’
experience or Medical Doctor with 9+ years RH experience) who can combine deep programmatic
and technical expertise with strategic leadership, stakeholder management, and systems
to drive program quality, government ownership, and sustainable impact.



  • The Technical Lead provides
    strategic technical leadership, oversight, and coordination for A360's
    comprehensive SRH/FP/MNCH/Nutrition programming.

Requirements

  • Bachelor
    of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Registered Nurse/Registered Midwife
    qualification with 12+ years progressive experience in reproductive health
    programming

  • Medical
    Doctor (MBBS or equivalent) with 9+ years specialised experience in Sexual and
    Reproductive Health, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, or Family Medicine

  • Master’s degree in
    public health, Maternal and Child Health, Nursing, 
    Midwifery,
    or related field will be an added advantage
