Job Description - Project Officer

Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements in line with business and client needs.

Develop and manage project plans, budgets, schedules, resources, milestones, and deliverables.

Lead cross-functional teams, including developers, engineers, QA specialists, business analysts, and vendors, to ensure effective project execution.

Manage client and stakeholder relationships, provide regular project updates, gather feedback, and ensure expectations are met.

Identify and manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and scope changes, implementing appropriate mitigation and escalation actions.

Monitor project progress, costs, resource utilization, and performance to ensure delivery within agreed scope, budget, quality, and timelines.

Ensure project deliverables meet defined quality, security, compliance, and client requirements.

Lead project meetings, reviews, and status reporting, ensuring timely resolution of project blockers.

Coordinate project closure, client handover, post-project reviews, and implementation of lessons learned.

Apply Agile methodologies where applicable, including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.

Drive continuous improvement, efficiency, and adoption of effective project management tools and delivery practices.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer
Science, Engineering, Business Management, or a related field.
At least 2-4 years of experience in project management,
managing IT or business technology solutions projects.
Proven track record of delivering complex projects involving
software development, system integration, or IT infrastructure
Experience in managing client relationships, working with
cross-functional teams, and delivering business-critical solutions.
Experience in managing remote or distributed teams and
projects.
