Job Description - Quality Inspector

The Quality Inspector is responsible for conducting quality and quantity inspections across all

production stages within the Company’s manufacturing operations. The role ensures conformity

to inspection plans, product specifications, contractual requirements, and applicable sampling

standards. The Quality Inspector performs pre-production checks, in-line (du-pros) inspections,

and Final Random Inspections (FRI) while ensuring accurate documentation, early detection of

non-conformities, and strict adherence to quality and EHS requirements.

The position reports to the Lead Quality Inspector/ Quality Manager (as may be applicable).

Requirements

Experience & Education

1. Minimum of an associate/vocational/college degree in garment, textile, engineering, or a

related field.

2. Minimum 2 years’ experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing environment.

3. Basic understanding of ISO 2859/AQL sampling standards.

4. Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to interpret basic statistics.

5. Relevant Certifications:

o Nigerian Primary (Preferred):

▪ ISO 9001:2015 Internal Auditor (added advantage but not mandatory)

▪ Basic ISPON/EHS awareness certification

o International (Added Advantage):

▪ QA/QC inspection certifications

▪ ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor

▪ NEBOSH/IOSH awareness-level certifications
