About the Role


Our client, a consumer goods company with regional distribution across Nigeria, is looking for a Regional Sales Manager to drive route-to-market execution and distributor performance. This role sits between field sales teams and commercial leadership, translating strategy into on-the-ground results.

Key Responsibilities



  • Manage and grow relationships with regional distributors and key retail accounts

  • Monitor sell-through, stock availability, and distributor performance metrics

  • Coach and support a team of field sales representatives

  • Execute regional go-to-market and promotional campaigns

  • Report on regional sales performance and market feedback to commercial leadership


Must-Haves



  • 4–6 years of FMCG or consumer goods sales experience

  • Experience managing distributor or trade partner relationships

  • Fluent English; regional language proficiency an advantage

  • Willingness to travel within the region for market visits


Nice-to-Haves



  • Experience managing or coaching a field sales team

  • Familiarity with route-to-market or distributor management systems

  • Existing relationships within Nigerian FMCG trade channels


What We're Looking For


A hands-on sales manager who understands both the numbers and the field — comfortable moving between distributor negotiations, retail execution, and team coaching. Someone who thrives with a degree of ownership over a defined territory.

Location & Work Arrangement


Lagos, Nigeria. Hybrid, with regular regional travel.
