Site Engineer

Summary:

Responsibilities:

• Assist with day-to-day site engineering tasks under the supervision of experienced engineers
  
• Help prepare engineering plans, documentation, and reports for construction and repairs
  
• Learn to interpret and apply codes, standards, and project specifications
  
• Support the preparation of project estimates and progress reports
  
• Review project plans and specifications as directed
  
• Help coordinate with contractors and participate in the contractor selection process
  
• Assist in tracking project schedules and budgets
  
• Observe site activities and help monitor project progress
  
• Learn about engineering, procurement, and construction processes
  
• Help track job progress, schedules, budgets, and staffing as needed
