Software & AI Development Associate

Treepz is looking for a curious and proactive Software & AI Development Associate to support software development, testing, debugging, system maintenance, and technology improvement initiatives. The role also involves using AI tools to improve coding, research, testing, documentation, and development efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the development and maintenance of software applications and internal systems.
  
• Assist with building features, debugging issues, testing, and software improvements.
  
• Use AI tools such as ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, and Claude to support development.
  
• Assist with APIs, databases, integrations, deployments, and system maintenance.
  
• Conduct functional, integration, and regression testing.
  
• Identify and troubleshoot technical issues and escalate complex problems.
  
• Maintain technical documentation and contribute to process improvements.
  
• Collaborate with Technology, Product, and other teams.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, HND, or equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field.
  
• 0–3 years of relevant software development experience.
  
• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, PHP, or Java.
  
• Understanding of software development, testing, debugging, APIs, and databases.
  
• Practical experience using AI tools for coding or technical research is an advantage.
  
• Internship, bootcamp, freelance, personal, or open-source projects are accepted.
  
• GitHub profile or software portfolio is highly desirable.
  
• Strong problem-solving, communication, learning, and teamwork skills.
