Software Developer & Technology Officer

The highly motivated and solutions-oriented Software Developer & Technology Officer will be responsible for leading the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the company's technology infrastructure and digital products. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the company's website, developing internal operational dashboards, building and enhancing logistics management tools, supporting technology-driven process improvements, and developing customer and rider-facing applications. The role requires a strong understanding of software development, systems integration, database management, automation, and business process optimization within a logistics environment.This position is ideal for a developer who enjoys solving real business problems through technology and wants to play a key role in scaling a fast-growing logistics company.

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain web and mobile applications.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  
• Minimum of 3 - 5 years' proven experience in software development, including the design, development, and maintenance of web applications, internal business systems, dashboards, and data visualization solutions.
  
• Experience working within the logistics, transportation, e-commerce, or other technology-driven industries is highly desirable, while experience with cloud infrastructure is an added advantage.
  
• Proficiency in frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Vue.js, or similar frameworks.
  
• Strong backend development skills using Node.js, PHP, Python, Laravel, Django, or similar technologies.
  
• Experience in mobile application development using Flutter, React Native, Android, or iOS.
  
• Proficiency in database management systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
  
• Hands-on experience with API development and third-party system integrations.
  
• Working knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  
• Proficiency in Git/GitHub, Business Intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau, or Looker Studio), and basic DevOps and application deployment practices.
  
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills with excellent attention to detail.
