Job Description - Solar Technician

Role Summary:

The diagnosis, repair, testing, quality verification and technical maintenance of Salpha Energy's solar power products and systems

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and technically assess defective or malfunctioning solar products returned for repair.

• Identify root causes of product failures rather than relying solely on component replacement.

• Carry out component-level troubleshooting and repairs where technically appropriate.

• Replace defective electronic, electrical and mechanical components in accordance with approved repair procedures.

• Escalate recurring or complex technical failures to the Head of Production & Engineering.

• Identify recurring product defects and provide recommendations for product improvement.

• Maintain accurate record of defective products repaired.

• Follow all quality control and safety measures for all repairs.
