Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Team Lead, Security Presales Engineer to lead its security presales function by providing technical leadership, driving customer engagements, and delivering innovative cybersecurity solutions that address clients' business and security needs.
The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in cybersecurity, enterprise networking, and security solutions, with the ability to translate complex technical requirements into scalable business solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate security solutions.
Conduct technical presentations, product demonstrations, and workshops that showcase the value of security solutions to prospective clients.
Serve as the primary technical advisor throughout the sales cycle, providing subject matter expertise on cybersecurity technologies.
Lead the development of technical responses for RFPs, RFQs, tenders, and customer proposals.
Design solution architectures, Proof of Concept (PoC), and Proof of Value (PoV) engagements tailored to customer requirements.
Ensure proposed security solutions integrate seamlessly with customers' existing infrastructure.
Maintain in-depth knowledge of the organization's security solutions and emerging technologies to provide technical leadership.
Collaborate with engineering and product teams to stay updated on new product features, enhancements, and solution capabilities.
Drive customer satisfaction by providing sound technical guidance throughout the pre-sales engagement.
Achieve revenue and profitability targets for the assigned solution portfolio.
Evaluate and optimize solution performance periodically in line with organizational objectives.
Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior presales engineers where applicable.
Requirements
What We're Looking For:
Essential Qualification & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
A Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA), Information Technology, or a related field will be an added advantage.
CCNP (Enterprise or Security) certification or an equivalent industry-recognized networking or cybersecurity certification.
8+ years' experience in cybersecurity, network security, IT infrastructure, or security presales with at least 3 years of experience leading or mentoring technical presales teams.
Proven experience designing and architecting enterprise security solutions while supporting complex B2B sales engagements.
Hands-on experience working with leading enterprise networking and cybersecurity OEMs such as Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto Networks, Microsoft Security, or equivalent enterprise technologies.
Strong understanding of enterprise cybersecurity, networking, cloud security, and infrastructure solutions.
Ability to align technical solutions with customer business objectives and commercial goals.
Experience developing Bills of Materials (BOMs), pricing models, and solution configurations.
Excellent communication, presentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Customer-focused with strong stakeholder management abilities.
Up-to-date knowledge of emerging cybersecurity technologies, trends, and best practices.
