Job Description - Technical Sales Executive

Business Development
& Sales

  • Identify, qualify, and secure new
    business opportunities across the oil and gas value chain.

  • Develop and implement sales
    strategies to achieve corporate growth objectives.

  • Prepare and deliver compelling
    proposals, presentations, and technical demonstrations.

  • Manage the tendering process
    including RFQs, RFPs, ITTs, and contract negotiations.

 

Client Relationship
Management

  • Build and nurture long-term
    relationships with IOCs, NOCs, and service companies.

  • Serve as the technical and
    commercial point of contact for assigned clients.

  • Resolve client issues promptly
    while ensuring high satisfaction levels.

 

Market & Technical
Support

  • Collaborate with engineering and
    operations teams to design client-focused solutions.

  • Stay updated on market trends,
    competitor activities, and regulatory developments.

  • Provide timely market intelligence
    to support management decision-making.

 

Reporting &
Compliance

  • Submit accurate sales forecasts,
    pipeline updates, and performance reports.

  • Ensure full compliance with
    industry regulations, client requirements, and HSE standards.

  • Track contracts and purchase
    orders, ensuring timely and quality delivery.


Requirements

Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering,
    Petroleum, Geo-sciences, Business Administration, Marketing, or related
    field.

  • MBA or relevant professional
    certification (ISM, CIM, etc.) is an added advantage.

Experience:

  • 5–7 years’ proven experience in
    technical sales or business development within oil & gas.

  • Strong track record in securing
    contracts, achieving revenue targets, and client management.

  • Hands-on experience in tendering,
    bid preparation, and contract negotiations.

  • Strong industry network across
    IOCs, NOCs, service companies, and regulators (e.g., NAPIMS, NCDMB, NIPEX,
    DPR, PETAN).
