Assignment Description

Are you an experienced C++ Developer looking for an opportunity to work on challenging software development projects? This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the development, optimization, and maintenance of robust and high-quality software solutions using C++.

You will work in a professional and technically strong development environment in Oslo, collaborating with experienced developers and multidisciplinary teams to design, develop, test, and improve software solutions.

Job Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain software using C++

• Develop clean, efficient, and maintainable code

• Apply object-oriented programming and sound software design principles

• Analyze technical requirements and translate them into effective software solutions

• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve complex software issues

• Optimize software performance, reliability, and maintainability

• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions

• Develop and maintain software documentation

• Perform software testing and support verification and validation activities

• Collaborate with developers and multidisciplinary engineering teams

• Contribute to continuous improvement of software development processes and practices

Requirements

• BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline

• Minimum 6 years of professional experience in C++ development

• Strong hands-on experience with C++

• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and software design principles

• Experience developing and maintaining complex software applications

• Good understanding of software architecture and design

• Experience with debugging, testing, and troubleshooting

• Experience with version control systems, preferably Git

• Experience working in Linux/Unix environments is relevant

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team

• Proactive and solution-oriented mindset

• Good communication skills in Norwegian and English
