Fleet Manager - Cruise

We are looking for an experienced and people-focused Fleet Manager to join our Cruise Management team.

In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality operations across your assigned cruise vessels. You will lead and support a team of Vessel Managers while working closely with clients and internal stakeholders to deliver operational excellence and strong service performance.

You will also act as a key link between Wilhelmsen Ship Management and our clients, building trusted relationships and ensuring alignment with operational and contractual expectations.

As Fleet Manager – Cruise, you will monitor, guide, and support Vessel Managers in all aspects of vessel operations. When delegated, you may act as Deputy Head of Cruise Management, taking on broader leadership responsibilities within the organization. You will have a strong focus on safety, compliance, client satisfaction, and continuous improvement across your fleet.

• Lead, coach, and support Vessel Managers in their daily operational responsibilities

• Ensure vessels operate in line with company standards, client requirements, Class, and regulatory frameworks

• Maintain oversight of operational performance and ensure safe, efficient, and compliant vessel operations

• Build and maintain strong relationships with client organizations and act as the main point of contact

• Monitor client developments and provide relevant insights and updates internally

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operational delivery

• Make critical operational decisions, including instructing vessels to go off-hire for necessary repairs

• Approve payments in line with delegated financial authorities

• Ensure continuity by appointing and supporting stand-in roles within the team
