Requirements
The Norwegian Payroll Implementation Consultant will manage and support the end-to-end payroll implementation lifecycle, working closely with clients to gather requirements, configure and test payroll solutions, validate data and integrations, resolve issues, and support go-live activities.
Act as the client-facing functional lead during project kick-off and requirements discussions.
Gather and validate payroll configuration requirements and complete workbooks, configuration documents, and questionnaires.
Identify deviations from product and process standards and recommend appropriate solutions.
Collaborate with the Product team to configure and implement the payroll solution.
Validate payroll functionality, data, and integrations throughout project testing cycles.
Perform data validation across payroll and connected systems.
Support defect identification, tracking, resolution, and workaround definition.
Coordinate integration issue resolution with relevant technical and functional teams.
Support UAT, parallel testing, data mapping, and reconciliation activities.
Contribute to project planning, tracking, and status updates.
Support go-live preparation and post-implementation activities.
Provide knowledge transfer to Delivery, Application Services, and Operational Payroll teams.
Ensure effective documentation and handover of the implemented payroll solution.
Experience in a functional consulting or analytical role within a payroll outsourcing or payroll software environment.
Strong knowledge of Norwegian payroll processes, tax, legislation, and compliance requirements.
Proven experience with the Norwegian payroll implementation lifecycle.
Strong client-facing, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to capture, analyze, articulate, and document business requirements.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to develop practical and cost-effective solutions.
Ability to assess alternative solutions based on feasibility, impact, and cost.
Proactive approach with strong attention to detail.
Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a global, fast-paced environment.
