Procurement Category Analyst / Senior Category Analyst – Logistics

Location: Malmö / Oslo / Stockholm

Do you want to work close to real business impact in one of the most important spend categories across a leading Nordic FMCG company?

We are looking for a Category Analyst / Senior Category Analyst to join Orkla Procurement – Logistics, with a focus on Road Transport. This is an excellent opportunity to develop within strategic sourcing while working hands-on with complex supplier markets, data, and commercial decisions.

Your role

You will be part of a high-performing procurement team responsible for developing and managing the Road Transport category across Orkla. The role combines analytical work, sourcing execution, and stakeholder collaboration.

Your responsibilities include:

• Analyzing market and supplier data to create insights into cost drivers and trends


• Supporting and driving tenders, sourcing processes and negotiations across European transport markets


• Contributing to category strategies, with a focus on cost efficiency, risk management and sustainability


• Collaborating closely with stakeholders across supply chain, finance and local business units


• Leveraging AI-driven tools and analytics – Orkla Procurement is actively investing in AI to transform sourcing, data analysis and decision-making

This position is a great entry point into Orkla Procurement. You will start within Logistics, with opportunities to grow into other procurement categories over time.

Who we are looking for

• 1-3 years of experience in procurement, logistics, supply chain, finance or similar


• Master’s degree in business, engineering, supply chain or equivalent


• Strong analytical skills and interest in data and digital tools (Excel + AI curiosity)


• Interest in transport/logistics markets and commercial dynamics


• Ability to translate complexity into clear insights and recommendations


• Proactive, structured and comfortable working with multiple stakeholders


• Fluent in English and a Scandinavian language
