Join our Metering and Instrument team in our state-of-the-art offices in Jåttåvågen in Stavanger

We are strengthening our metering capability in Stavanger and are looking for Senior Specialists Metering who want to help secure and further develop one of our key competence areas.

Metering competence is a critical for our clients and the operations. At the same time, we are looking for engineers who can contribute broadly across instrument engineering disciplines and support our cluster-based organization.

What will you be doing?

• Serve as a key technical resource within fiscal, allocation and process metering.


• Support modification and maintenance projects for major energy clients.


• Contribute to maintaining and developing critical metering competence within the organization.


• Work closely with operations, projects, vendors and clients to ensure compliant and reliable metering solutions.


• Act as a mentor and expert within metering while contributing broadly across instrument engineering disciplines.


• Support digitalization, simplification and continuous improvement initiatives.

Typical tasks may include, but not limited to:

• Metering system design and modifications.


• Flow measurement and metering calculations.


• Metering philosophies and technical documentation.


• Metering system assessments and performance evaluations.


• General instrument engineering activities as required by projects and business needs.


• Instrument specification and datasheets.


• Vendor follow-up and technical procurement.


• Technical studies and troubleshooting.


• Offshore surveys and commissioning support.


• Contribute to development of metering standards, methodologies and best practices.


• Identify opportunities for digitalization & automation within relevant areas


• Support continuous improvement initiatives within both metering and broader instrument engineering activities.


• Contribute to competence sharing and development across the Instrument cluster.

We think you should have:

• Extensive experience within metering systems and instrument engineering.


• Strong understanding of relevant standards, regulations and industry best practices.


• Experience from offshore modification and maintenance projects.


• Ability to work independently and provide technical leadership.


• Strong collaboration and communication skills.


• Interest in digitalization, data utilization and continuous improvement.


• Ability to contribute across projects and disciplines in line with our cluster strategy.
