Job Description - Service Specialist

We deliver societally critical systems that play an essential role in facilitating fair and efficient power markets across Europe. Through these systems and their offering, Nord Pool also plays a key role in enabling the acceleration towards green and clean energy production and consumption.

We are looking for a Service Specialist for the shared services team.

In this role you will be:

  • Responsible for in-house coordination of customer onboarding processes together with our excellent team. In addition you will be dealing with customer change requests, and other inquiries affecting the customer subscriptions and services.
  • Document control, archive responsibility, CRM updates and administrative support of all business processes related to Nord Pool’s customers.
  • Present and advise on products and services to existing and prospective customers in close collaboration with our sales team or other stakeholders.
  • Drive or contribute to ad hoc priorities or projects  within the Operations team as required.
  • Delivering of excellent customer service during day to day operations through a ticket system, phone or email
  • Support with the billing process.

Role Requirements

  • Completed higher education.
  • Experience with IT systems for Service management, CRM and document control.
  • Experience from developing, streamlining and mapping customer journeys and business processes, and translating these into efficient back office business processes or customer experiences.
  • Experience with management and implementation of new (technical) solutions.
  • Knowledge of documentation compliance standards and requirements.
  • Excellent IT skills and interest.
  • Excellent Customer Service skills.
  • Excellent English skills, both written and spoken.
  • An additional European language at minimum intermediate level, both written and oral would be a plus.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the power market is an advantage but not a requirement as long as there is an interest to learn.
