What Will You Do? | Ka aha koe? Key responsibilities will include:
Operating cinema projection, sound and lighting equipment.
Assisting with film scheduling, ingesting films and playlist creation.
Providing exceptional customer service to patrons.
Ticket sales, EFTPOS and cash handling.
Promoting cinema activities through social media and community channels.
Supporting external performances, shows and community events.
Assisting with food preparation and retail sales.
Maintaining stock levels and presentation of retail areas.
Ensuring the cinema, community hall and associated facilities are clean, safe and well maintained.
Supporting compliance with health and safety, food safety and Council policies.
Who Are You? | Ko wai koe? We are looking for someone with:
Essential:
Passionate about movies and community events.
Previous experience in a customer service role.
Friendly, approachable and customer focused.
Comfortable learning and using technology and digital systems.
Reliable, self-motivated and able to work independently.
A strong communicator with excellent people skills.
Practical, adaptable and willing to take initiative.
Available to work evenings, weekends and public holidays as required.
Desirable:
Good computer and digital literacy skills.
Experience operating audiovisual, theatre or cinema equipment.
Cash handling and point-of-sale experience.
Problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
A full driver's licence (advantageous).
A Duty Manager's Certificate, or willingness to obtain one (advantageous)
