Bitumen Sprayer Operator

Job Description

We currently have the opportunity for an experienced Bitumen Sprayer Operator to join our Chipsealing team. In this role, you’ll be part of our sealing crew, your role will be to manage the efficient operation of the bitumen sprayer, ensuring accurate, safe and high-quality application for our clients.

We’re looking for someone with:

• Solid experience as a sprayer operator or in chipsealing

• Availability to work away from home and on night shift

• Full Class 4 licence and DG endorsement (Class 5 and WTR endorsements are advantageous)

• Previous bitumen and emulsion handling experience

• Ability to problem solve in a fast-paced environment

• A proactive approach to Health and Safety - it’s our #1 priority

• Good Interpersonal and communication skills

• A positive attitude and most importantly, a good sense of humour

In addition to the above you will:

• Transfer bitumen

• Assist in the execution of the sealing works, as required by the Contract Specifications applicable

• Maintain open communication with other crew members and management

• Ensure all plant and work sites are kept in a safe and tidy condition
