Walter’s Tavern is looking for a passionate Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team in the heart of Queenstown.

About the role:

• Work alongside a talented kitchen team delivering consistent, high-quality food
• Prepare and cook across multiple sections during busy services
• Maintain strong kitchen standards, food safety and presentation
• Assist with prep, service and daily kitchen operations
• Contribute to a positive team culture and help support junior chefs

About you:

• Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Commis Chef ready to step up
• Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen
• Passionate about delivering great food and consistent quality
• Strong communication skills and a team-focused attitude
• Ability to remain calm and organised under pressure
