Class 5 Linehaul Truck Driver - New Plymouth

About the Role 

We are looking for an experienced Class 5 Linehaul Driver to join our team in New Plymouth. Ideally you will have at least 2 years' experience driving Class 5 as well as experience in temperature-controlled transport, as you will be working with chilled and frozen goods. Being the face of Big Chill out on the roads, you will also bring to our team excellent communication and customer service skills. 

This is a full-time role, working Monday to Friday starting at 6:00pm to 4am.

Key responsibilities include 

• 
  

  Delivery and pick up of chilled and frozen products  

  
  


• 
  

  Providing assistance to the Stores team to present product for loading/unloading 

  
  


• 
  

  Collaborating with dispatchers to ensure timely deliveries  

  
  


• 
  

  Compliance in delivery times and temperature control of customer goods 

  
  

About You 

• 
  

  Qualified Class 5 driver with at least 2 years  experience 

  
  


• Hold a OSH Forklift Licence (advantage) 


• 
  

  Experience working in frozen/temperature-controlled environments preferred 

  
  


• 
  

  Demonstrate initiative , reliability and a reat work ethic 

  
  


• 
  

  Strong understanding of Health, Safety and Compliance.
