As a Corporate Accountant, you'll play a key role in delivering high quality financial and regulatory reporting while supporting important projects across Corporate Finance. You'll work with various stakeholders and help turn complex financial information into trusted insights. This is a 14-month fixed-term full-time role based in Tāmaki Makaurau (Auckland). 
 
Ngā Mahi Hei Whakatutuki Māu | What You'll Do 
 
• Prepare monthly, half year and annual financial reporting for group entities, ensuring accuracy, quality and compliance with reporting requirements. 
• Support month end close activities, including journal preparation, reconciliations, cash flow reporting and financial commentary. 
• Assist with external audits by preparing workpapers, reconciling data and providing information to auditors 
• Contribute to board, group and regulatory reporting, helping deliver meaningful insights to key stakeholders 
• Support projects focused on process improvement, systems enhancements and financial reporting automation 
• Partner with finance and business teams to provide technical accounting support and contribute to informed decision making. 
 
Ōu Pūkenga me ōu Wheako | What You'll Bring 
 
• CA, CPA or progress towards completion, with strong technical accounting foundations. 
• Experience in financial services, insurance, banking or a Big Four accounting environment. 
• Demonstrated experience in NZ IFRS, statutory reporting and regulatory reporting requirements. 
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial information and deliver practical recommendations 
• Excellent communication skills, with confidence preparing reports and engaging with a broad stakeholder group. 
• Experience using Excel and other reporting tools, with an interest in automation, process improvement or AI solutions. 
• Strong attention to detail, a collaborative approach and a commitment to delivering high quality outcomes
