Farro Store Manager 12 Months Parental Leave Cover

Farro has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and passionate Store Manager to join our Farro family on a parental leave cover in our Orakei store.

About the role 

As Store Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of bringing the Farro experience to life. You’ll lead from the front, creating an environment where exceptional customer service, high standards and a passion for food are part of every day. 

Your responsibilities will broadly include: 

• Leading, coaching and empowering the store team to deliver an exceptional customer experience 

• Developing our future leaders and creating a positive, high-performing team culture 

• Driving store KPI performance and taking ownership of commercial results 

• Ensuring high standards of store presentation, product availability and operational excellence 

• Working collaboratively with department leaders and the wider Farro team 

• Championing Health & Safety, Food Safety and compliance standards across the store 

• Using your leadership initiative to think and act like a store owner, bringing energy, accountability and passion to your store every day 

Who are we looking for? 

You’ll be an experienced retail leader who loves being on the floor, working alongside your team and creating an environment where both our customers and people have a great experience. 

Ideally, you’ll bring: 

• Proven experience leading a busy retail store or large team 

• A customer-led philosophy and genuine passion for delivering outstanding service 

• Strong coaching and people leadership skills, with a focus on developing future leaders 

• The ability to drive KPI performance and influence the actions needed to achieve results 

• Strong commercial and operational acumen 

• Confidence managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment 

• A hands-on leadership style with plenty of energy and initiative 

• A genuine passion for food and the Farro experience
