Role Overview

This in-office role involves full ownership of the finance function, covering all core elements of financial control including management reporting, forecasting, treasury, tax compliance, and governance.

Beyond the senior remit, the position plays a key role in driving business performance, transformation, and strategic initiatives across the organisation.

What you will do:

Own Cyclone's financial planning, reporting and manage all finance and accounting operations. Drive business and financial planning including risk minimisation, strategy and forecasting. 

Key Responsibilities

In addition to core financial management, the role includes:

• Leading costing and margin analysis across the business to support commercial decision-making


• Reviewing of commercial contracts and agreements


• Driving systems and process improvements


• Owning the transition to full IFRS reporting including finance leases


• Supporting the implementation of ISO27001 compliance frameworks


• Contributing to strategic initiatives and ad hoc projects alongside senior leadership
  


• Administering and monitoring operational funds (e.g., rebates, incentives and rewards), ensuring appropriate governance, tracking, and reporting


• Reviewing payroll processing and outputs to ensure accuracy and compliance

You will lead a small but capable finance team, while remaining hands-on in delivery, ensuring high-quality reporting, strong internal controls, and a culture of continuous improvement.

About You (Must-Haves)

• CA, CPA, or equivalent professional qualification


• Strong technical expertise including IFRS financial reporting


• At least five years’ experience in relevant finance management position
  


• Proven leadership capability, with experience coaching and developing team members


• Confidence working with senior stakeholders and influencing across the organisation


• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills


• A practical, improvement-driven mindset, with demonstrated experience strengthening systems, processes, or controls
