Forklift driver / Stores Cover

We're looking for a reliable and safety-focused team member to join our Belfast team in a role that is primarily focused on forklift operations, with some stores support duties as required. This role is primarily focused on forklift operations, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of materials across the site. The role also provides support to the Stores function, including inventory management, purchasing, goods receipting, and administration, particularly during periods of leave cover or operational demand.

In this role, you will:

• Operate forklifts safely to load, unload, and transport products and materials across site.
• Load and unload trucks and complete associated documentation.
• Respond to production requests and assist with site logistics.
• Carry out routine forklift checks and basic maintenance.
• Support site cleaning activities, including cleaning of tanks, emptying skips, and maintaining high housekeeping standards.
• Assist with post-mortem cattle processing and other operational support tasks.
• Provide stores cover when required, including stock control, receipting goods, issuing stock, and inventory administration.

What you'll bring:

• Current Forklift Licence.
• Previous forklift operating experience.
• A strong commitment to health, safety, and housekeeping.
• Good organisational and communication skills.
• Physically fit and able to work in outdoor conditions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys operating equipment, keeping work areas clean and organised, and supporting a busy processing environment.
