Intellectual Property Solicitor / Senior Solicitor

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing practice and work alongside highly regarded practitioners on a broad range of intellectual property, commercial and corporate matters.  While our preference is for this role to be based in Tauranga, we're open to exceptional candidates located in Hamilton, Auckland or Rotorua, with flexible and hybrid working arrangements available.

The Opportunity

As demand for our Intellectual Property practice continues to grow, we're looking for someone who enjoys working collaboratively, building trusted client relationships, and providing commercially focused advice.

You'll work across a diverse range of matters including:

• Trade marks, copyright and branding


• Commercialisation of intellectual property


• Licensing and technology agreements


• Intellectual property protection and enforcement


• Commercial contracts


• Corporate and business transactions where IP forms a key component

Working closely with experienced Partners and senior lawyers, you'll enjoy genuine mentoring, direct client exposure, and the opportunity to build your own profile within a nationally recognised firm.

About You

You'll bring:

• Approximately 4+ years' PQE


• Experience in Intellectual Property, together with exposure to commercial and corporate law


• Strong drafting, communication and analytical skills


• Commercial judgement and a practical approach to problem solving


• A collaborative mindset and genuine interest in building long-term client relationships


• A desire to continue developing your expertise and contribute to the growth of our IP practice
