About the role

We're looking for a Lead Product Designer to lead the design direction of BoardPro’s product experience. You'll combine strategic thinking with hands-on design to create intuitive, elegant experiences that simplify governance for thousands of board members and administrators.

Working closely with Product, Engineering and Customer teams, you'll champion user-centred design, lead our design practice, mentor a Product Designer, and help shape the future of our platform. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced B2B SaaS environment and loves turning complex workflows into beautifully simple experiences.

What You'll Be Doing

• Lead the end-to-end design of new product experiences and enhancements across the BoardPro platform.


• Translate customer needs, business goals and technical constraints into intuitive, high-impact design solutions.


• Own and evolve our design system to ensure consistency, accessibility and scalability.


• Conduct user research, usability testing and analysis to validate design decisions and uncover opportunities.


• Partner closely with Product and Engineering throughout discovery, delivery and iteration.


• Mentor and coach a Product Designer while fostering a strong design culture.


• Champion user-centred design thinking across the organisation and communicate design rationale to stakeholders.


• Continuously optimise the product using customer feedback, analytics and emerging design best practices.

What we're looking for

• 4–6+ years in a senior Product Design role within a B2B SaaS environment.


• Experience leading or mentoring other designers.


• Advanced proficiency with Figma, prototyping tools and user research methods.


• Strong UX, interaction and visual design skills with an eye for detail.


• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.


• Experience balancing user needs with business outcomes and technical feasibility.


• Knowledge of accessibility standards and responsive design.


• Comfortable working in agile, collaborative product teams.
