He angitūtanga: The opportunity
We are recruiting for a Manager, Community Place – Māngere East Library to lead a talented team and build relationships within a library-loving community! With a proven track record in staff leadership, we are seeking a people person who can foster strong relationships with key stakeholders. You will also create effective community practice, addressing the needs and priorities of the Māngere-Ōtāhuhu Local Board and local communities and provide a safe, welcoming environment for customers and staff.
Ngā kawenga matua: Key responsibilities
This is a permanent, full-time opportunity leading a team of 16, requiring flexibility to work across the Māngere-Ōtāhuhu local board area as required. The library is open seven days a week including one late night. Some late nights may be required to support the service and programmes and events.
