Oral Health Therapist | Mobile Unit 5 | Wellington

Our Lumino Mobile Unit 5 is looking for a reliable full-time Oral Health Therapist join our team!

Lumino The Dentist mobile dental unit visits a number of secondary schools in the Wellington and Kapiti areas, meaning parents don't have to take time off work or remove their child from important classes for them to be seen by an Oral Health Therapist.

As an Oral Health Therapist, you'll have the opportunity to assess and manage the evolving oral health needs of young people in year 9, up until their 18th birthday, utilising modern clinical techniques to deliver exceptional care. Beyond treatment, you'll play a vital role in educating young patients and their families, helping to build lifelong habits that support healthy, confident smiles.

The hours for the role are:

• Monday - Friday 8.30am - 3:30pm

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• A qualification as an Oral Health Therapist or Dental Hygienist
• Registration with the Dental Council of New Zealand (DCNZ)
• A current Annual Practising Certificate (APC) or the ability to obtain one
• A collaborative, patient-focused approach
• A genuine passion for preventative, ethical, and high-quality care

The Location

• Since the units are always on the move, you will need to meet the bus at the site for the duration of the visit.
